Roll-off dumpsters delivered to your driveway, jobsite or cottage lane — usually the same day you call. One flat price with the tonnage written down, boards under the rails as standard, and a local number that a person actually answers.

Why the Lakeshore calls EAD
Ethan Davis started this company with one roll-off truck and a straightforward idea: quote a real price, show up when you said you would, and treat somebody's driveway like it is your own. More than a decade later that is still how it runs. When you dial (616) 499-6026 you reach our yard on 460 Cleveland Ave — not a scheduling queue three states away that has never tried to turn a loaded truck around on a Macatawa cottage lane.
That matters more than it sounds. Knowing which drives out past Overisel will not take a loaded truck after a wet March. Knowing that the sandy subgrade near the lake behaves nothing like the clay inland. Knowing how fast a container fills once plaster and lath starts coming out of an older near-downtown house. It is the difference between a job that runs smooth and one that costs you an afternoon.
Pick your box
Weight fills a container long before volume does. Tell us what you are throwing away and we will point you at the size that actually fits the job — even when that is the cheaper one.

Learn moreWhy choose us
You reach our yard on 460 Cleveland Ave, not a national dispatch queue. The person who answers knows which lakeshore lanes a truck can turn around in and which Allegan County drives go soft in April.
Delivery, rental period, pickup, fuel, disposal and a stated tonnage allowance in a single number. If something would push you over, we tell you before the truck leaves.
Call before noon and most Holland-area orders go out the same day. Swap-outs on live jobsites get priority over everything else.
Lake-effect snow does not stop us. Clear the placement spot and we will deliver — and we plan spring collections around the county frost laws so nobody gets caught out.
Weight fills a container long before volume does. We will talk you into a smaller can if that is the honest answer.
Clean concrete, metal and green waste get routed for recovery. Michigan bans yard waste from landfill, so we keep green loads clean as standard.
How it works
No forms, no portal logins, no waiting on a quote email. Five steps, and the first is a conversation with somebody who has actually loaded a container.

Tell us the address, roughly what is going in, where you want it and when. That is the entire process on your side. We handle sizing, scheduling, protection, hauling and disposal.
If you are not sure what size you need, do not guess — describe the pile. Sizing containers is what we do all day, and we would rather talk you into the cheaper box than sell you space you will never fill.
Call (616) 499-6026One short conversation. We ask what you are clearing, where the box needs to sit and when you need it. No forms, no waiting on an email.
You get one number covering delivery, the rental period, pickup, disposal and a stated tonnage allowance. If a smaller box does the job we will say so.
The driver walks the spot with you, lays protection under the rails and sets the container square. In winter, clear the snow off the spot and we will handle the rest.
Keep it level with the top rail and keep the banned items out. Need a swap mid-job or an early pickup? One call and we are on it.
Clean concrete, metal and green waste get routed for recovery rather than buried. You get your driveway back the way you left it.

The thing nobody tells you
Most people ordering their first dumpster assume the biggest container is the least risky option. With light, bulky material — furniture, boxes, insulation, cabinetry — that is true. With anything dense it is the opposite.
A 30 or 40 yard box loaded with roofing shingles, wet plaster, tile or damp basement carpet will blow past its tonnage allowance while it still looks half empty, and you pay the overage by the ton. A 20 yard with a matched allowance often costs less for exactly the same job. Concrete, brick, block, dirt and asphalt go further still: those need a dedicated low-fill heavy debris container, never a mixed load.
Ask us and you will get the honest answer, even when the honest answer is the smaller box. Our size guide walks through the maths, and the cost breakdown covers what actually moves the price.

West Michigan specifics
Lake-effect snow does not stop a delivery. Clear the placement spot, push the snow somewhere that is not where the container needs to sit, and we will do the rest. Frozen ground actually carries a loaded truck better than saturated spring ground, which is why winter placements often go more smoothly than April ones.
Spring is the harder season, and it catches people out. From roughly March through May, county road commissions post seasonal weight restrictions — frost laws — as the frost comes out of the ground and the subgrade softens. A loaded roll-off is heavy, so this can genuinely limit which roads a full container can travel and when, particularly on rural addresses out toward Overisel, Hamilton and Fennville.
We build it into the schedule rather than being surprised by it. Give us as much notice as you can for a spring job and read the winter and frost-law guide before you plan the dates.

Service area
We run roll-off dumpsters out of our 460 Cleveland Ave yard across Ottawa County and Allegan County — from the cottage lanes at Macatawa and Saugatuck to the farm drives around Overisel and Hamilton, and north up US-31 as far as Grand Haven. If your town is not on this list, call us anyway. We probably still get there.
What locals say
Called at nine and had a 20 yard on the drive by two. Boards down, doors facing the garage, and the driveway looked exactly the same when they picked it up a week later.
We build up and down the lakeshore and EAD is the only hauler that has never left us sitting on a full box. When they say Tuesday, it is Tuesday.
Tore off a two-layer roof out in Hamilton and they talked me down from a 30 to a 20 because of the weight. Saved me the overage. That is not the advice a salesman gives you.
They delivered in February, in the snow, down a cottage lane barely wide enough for the truck. Patient about the whole thing and nothing got touched.

FAQs
The questions we field most often from Holland homeowners and contractors. More on the full FAQ page.
Price depends on the size you take, how heavy the debris is, how long you keep it and how far you are from our yard. What matters more is how the price is put together. Ours is a flat rate covering delivery, the rental period, pickup, fuel, disposal and a stated tonnage allowance, so the number you are quoted is the number you pay unless you go over the weight. Call with a short description of the job and you will get a firm figure.
Most orders placed before noon go out the same day inside Holland and the closer Ottawa County towns. Anything booked in the afternoon usually lands first thing the next morning. Jobsite swap-outs get priority because a full container stops a crew working. Spring frost-law restrictions and severe weather can occasionally get in the way, and if so we will say so rather than promise a slot we cannot hold.
No, as long as we know exactly where it goes and the spot is clear. Plenty of customers text a photo of the driveway with an X on it. If the placement is tight, on a slope, or sits near a septic lid or irrigation line, it is worth being there for the two minutes it takes to set. Cars in the way — and in winter, unshifted snow — are the two most common reasons a delivery gets pushed.
It should not, and we take real steps to make sure. Boards go under the rails and the roller contact points on every driveway placement, at no extra charge. Damage almost always happens during the roll-off and pick-up rather than while the container is sitting there, so the protection and a careful driver matter most. West Michigan freeze-thaw is hard on driveways, so a surface already cracked or spalling carries more risk whatever anyone does — tell us and we will suggest a better spot.
No liquids, wet paint, solvents, motor oil, fuel, pesticides or lawn chemicals, batteries, tyres, propane cylinders, appliances holding refrigerant, electronics, medical waste or anything containing asbestos. Michigan also bans yard waste from landfill, so leaves, grass and brush must travel as a separate clean green load. If you are unsure about something, ring us before it goes in the box.
The standard rental period covers most jobs comfortably, and if you need longer you just call. Extra days are cheap and arranged in a minute. We would far rather extend the rental than have you rush a job or overfill a container. If you finish early, call and we will collect sooner so you get your driveway back.
Yes, right through it. Lake-effect snow does not stop us — the one thing we need is the placement spot cleared before the truck arrives, with the snow pushed somewhere that is not where the container has to sit. Frozen ground actually carries a loaded truck better than saturated spring ground, so winter deliveries often go more smoothly than April ones.
If the container sits entirely on your own driveway or property, generally no. If it has to sit on a public street, sidewalk or right-of-way, you will usually need a permit from whichever authority owns that road — which around here might be the City of Holland, a township, or a county road commission. HOA and deed-restricted subdivisions are a separate approval and often stricter than any city rule.
